MP-8 Drill
The rigs and ancillary equipment are mounted on all-terrain tracked carriers. The equipment incorporates the newest ideas and the most innovative and up-to-date features.
The Acker MP-8 multi-function drill has a 14-foot-long stroke, and is complete with hydraulic foot clamp, rod breaker, and sliding head capabilities. It is set-up to do angle holes down to 45 degrees as well as vertical. This rig is capable of Reverse Circulation drilling and Diamond drilling up to “P” wireline and “PW” casing. It is complete with levelling jacks. The drill is in an enclosed shack with fitted sock to provide a safe and comfortable working environment for the crews.
Crew / Water Hauler
The 5-person cab tracked carrier is equipped with a ROPS (roll-over protection structure) cab which meets all Ministry regulations to safely transport crews and equipment to and from the drill site. The unit is complete with a closed-in water tank and rod storage compartment; it is also equipped with a generator / welder, oxy-acetylene torches and miscellaneous spares for the drill. All fuel transfers are done with certified fuel tanks.
Support Container
Our equipment also includes a 12-foot Skid mounted container which houses an on-site portable workshop and acts as a storage facility for all spare parts.
